Horse Trainer: Foundation to Finish

A. Performance Horse Sales: $10,000-$30,000/ Horse Sold (Industry Dollar Value)

B. Performance Horse Training: $900-$1,100/ Month/ Horse (Base Training Fee: Does not include Feed, Shoeing, Teeth, Chiro)

• Students can certify in each phase of the performance horse sales tests. The focus of the performance horse certifications is to certify the students understanding of the PROCESS of setting a solid foundation on a performance horse prospect to be sold to the public. (Focus: All-Around Ranch and Arena Horse Prospects).

Daywork Skills: Ranch & Feedlot

A. Daywork: $100-$300/ Day Working on Ranch or Feedlot (Industry Dollar Value)

B. Ranch Hand or Pen Rider: $1,700 – $3,000/ Month (May or may not include housing)

• Students can certify in each phase of the ranch and feedlot tests. The focus of the ranch and feedlots certifications is to certify the students understanding of the PROCESS of setting a solid foundation on a “certified dayworker” as well as training a horse on the ranch and feedlot to be sold to the public. (Focus: All-Around Ranch and Arena Horse Prospects).
